The Retreat is subject to minimum participant numbers.
Your payment reserves your place but does not mean that the Retreat has yet been confirmed as proceeding.
You will be notified once the minimum participant number has been reached and the Retreat is confirmed.
Please do not purchase non-refundable flights or make other non-refundable travel arrangements until you have received written confirmation that your Retreat is proceeding.
If the Retreat does not reach minimum numbers and is cancelled by the organiser, amounts paid by you toward the Retreat will be refunded.
6. Participant cancellations
We understand that circumstances can change.
If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify Stacy Shepherd in writing.
Because the Retreat involves advance commitments to accommodation, facilities and suppliers, cancellation charges may increase as the Retreat approaches.
The $750 booking deposit is non-refundable unless the retreat does not proceed.
Any additional payments that are committed to non-refundable retreat costs are also non-refundable.
Where reasonably possible, you may request to transfer your place to another eligible psychology private practice owner. Any transfer is subject to approval and any costs associated with changing the booking.
Any refund or cancellation provision in these terms is subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Cancellation or significant changes by the organiser
In the unlikely event that the Retreat is cancelled by the organiser and cannot reasonably proceed, participants will be offered a refund of Retreat payments received for services that will not be provided, subject to rights and remedies available under applicable law.
The organiser is not responsible for participants' independently booked flights, additional accommodation or other travel expenses.
Where circumstances outside the organiser's reasonable control require changes to the venue, program, facilitators, activities, meals or other arrangements, reasonable alternatives may be provided where possible.
8. Travel insurance
Participants are required to obtain appropriate international travel insurance for the duration of their travel.
Your policy should be appropriate to your individual circumstances and should be considered for coverage including medical expenses, cancellation, travel disruption and personal belongings.
It is each participant's responsibility to understand the inclusions, exclusions and limitations of their insurance policy.
9. Passports, visas and entry requirements
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they hold a valid passport and meet all applicable Indonesian visa, immigration, health and entry requirements.
Requirements may change, and participants should obtain current information relevant to their individual circumstances before travelling.
10. Health, wellbeing and participation
Participants are responsible for determining whether travel and participation in retreat activities are appropriate for them.
Yoga, fitness, massage, sauna, hot/cold plunge and other wellness activities are optional.
Please advise the organiser of relevant dietary, accessibility or other requirements that may affect your participation so that reasonable arrangements can be explored.
Participation in any optional physical or wellness activity is voluntary.
11. Nature of business mentoring
Business mentoring, mastermind discussions and retreat activities are provided for general educational and professional-development purposes.
They do not constitute legal, financial, accounting, taxation or other regulated professional advice.
Participants remain responsible for their own business decisions and should obtain appropriate professional advice where required.
12. Confidentiality and group discussions
The Retreat is intended to provide a trusted environment in which practice owners can discuss their businesses openly.
Participants are expected to respect the confidentiality of other participants and not disclose identifiable information about another participant or their business outside the Retreat without permission.
Participants must not share identifiable client information or other confidential clinical information during retreat discussions.
13. Participant conduct
Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward other participants, the organiser, Hotel Komune staff and other guests.
The organiser reserves the right to require a participant to leave the Retreat where their behaviour presents a serious safety concern or materially disrupts the Retreat or other participants.
14. Partners, children and other guests
The Retreat is designed as a participant-only experience.
Partners, children and other non-participating guests are not included in the Retreat and should not accompany participants for the retreat stay.
This is intended to preserve the focused small-group environment and give participants genuine time away from their usual personal and professional responsibilities.
15. Accommodation
Each participant will be provided with their own private Resort Room for the five nights of the Retreat.
Specific room numbers, locations or configurations cannot be guaranteed.
Additional nights or upgraded accommodation requested by a participant are subject to availability and are at the participant's own expense.
16. Photography and privacy
Photographs may be taken during the Retreat for memories and potential future promotional use.
Participants will be given an opportunity to advise if they do not wish to appear in promotional photographs or video.
Personal information collected during booking will be used to administer the Retreat and make necessary arrangements with relevant service providers.
17. Liability and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, participants are responsible for losses arising from their own travel arrangements, personal decisions, failure to meet entry requirements or participation in optional activities.
18. Changes to these terms
These terms are those applying to your booking at the time it is made.
Any material change affecting an existing booking will be communicated to the participant.
